Railway sleepers are heavy and hard to transport. You need two people to lift them and a crane or forklift to unload the lorry. WoodBlocX comes on pallets in a tail-lift truck and the components can easily be carried by hand.

Railway sleepers have to be tied together using expensive fixings and power tools. WoodBlocX is dowelled together using only a hammer. The multiple dowel connections make the whole structure into one rigid object. This gives enormous strength especially around corners.

Railway sleepers have to be cut to shape and size using a power saw. WoodBlocX components come ready to assemble and you can make any shape or size you like without any cutting.
