WoodBlocX Playground Projects
WoodBlocX is a new and exciting product that can change any outdoor area. It is wooden, modular and easy-to-use on earth, grass or hard surfaces like paving or tarmac. Using WoodBlocX is easy as there is no heavy lifting, drilling, screwing and no power tools are needed, which means, all you need is a few basic tools and a squad of little workers!
What can you build? - You can build different structures in a variety of shapes and sizes such as, raised beds, ponds, pillared walls, planter seats, sand pits and anything else you can think of. We even have BlocX that create curved and 45 degree turn designs. Raised beds in the shape of a primary school's initials have been popular enquiries and with every design we send a layer by layer guide which makes construction child's play.
If you need a design that is unique to your School (which most are) then just get in touch with us. The WoodBlocX Team are happy to draw up and price your design for you free of charge. Sending a quick sketch via email or by just giving us a call (0800 3891 420) Delivery time is generally within 3/4 working days.
Build some raised beds and get the children to do the hard work! It works by building a structure block by block and can give children a chance to experience designing, planning and construction at first hand.
Learning outdoors can be enjoyable, creative, challenging and adventurous and helps children and young people learn by experience and grow as confident and responsible citizens (Curriculum for Excellence through outdoors learning)
"Children can learn to make decisions, solve problems and grow in confidence in their own abilities outdoors" (EYFS )
