Choose between two types of finishing capping styles; Traditional or Modern
When using our website’s raised bed calculator, you can now choose between two finishing capping styles; Traditional or Modern. These different capping options are also available through our Free Design Service for bespoke projects.
WoodBlocX capping is secured to the structure using our final layer dowels and creates a beautiful finish to your design.

Our two capping styles now offer customers the opportunity to customise the look of their WoodBlocX raised bed.
Traditional capping
Chamfered with a slight overhang on each side of the structure. Finished with 45° mitre cut corners, it creates a stylish, traditional look in your garden.
Modern capping
Slimmer and sits flush with each side of the structure. Finished with straight cut corners, it creates a more modern look in your garden.
Please note, due to the design, some of our planter benches, steps and garden furniture kits have a fixed capping style.
For a more traditional look
With a mitred corner finish our traditional capping is chamfered with a slight overhang on each side for a classic look.
For a more modern look
With a straight edge finish our modern capping is flush with the rest of the structure for a more contemporary look.
